Playbox was a lovely show to do with wonderful people to work with.
All the 'action' took place inside this box with these two Puppet characters Cat and Dog.
The show had a charming pace with a special warmth and affection between the two characters.
It was the first pre-school show I worked on and I learnt a lot from Anne Wood and Director Leslie Pitt,
though knowing so little then, I didn't realise or appreciate it at the time.
These were early and difficult days for UK Independents and Anne had only recently set up the now famous Ragdoll Productions.
Playbox is a forgotten gem of a Pre-school Television Programme.
