The Big Bag kids TV Series UK Version Puppetry information The 'Big Bag' Kids TV Series was developed in the USA by the 'Children's Television Workshop' now 'Sesame Workshop' and this is the UK version which we worked on here. Myself, Marcus Clarke and Helena Smee performed, (voiced and puppeteered) Bag and Chelli, the two puppet characters. These roles we had simply auditioned for. I particularly enjoyed 'Bag' singing the blues, we sang all the songs 'live.' Two TV Series were made by Yorkshire Television for CITV in a franchise arrangement with 'Sesame workshop' and they were Produced and Directed here for YTV by Patrick Titley and Colin Nobbs, both just terrific guys and real fun to work with!
