The 'Big Bag' was developed in the USA by the 'Children's Television Workshop' now 'Sesame Workshop' and this is the UK version which we worked on here. Myself and Helena performed, (voiced and puppeteered) Bag and Chelli, the two puppet characters, roles for which we had simply auditioned. I particularly enjoyed 'Bag' singing the blues, we sang all the songs 'live.' Two TV Series were made by Yorkshire Television for CITV in a franchise arrangement with 'Sesame workshop' and Produced and Directed here for YTV by Patrick Titley and Colin Nobbs, both just terrific fun to work with!
